America's Second Harvest: Ending Hunger  The nation's largest domestic hunger relief organization. Through a network of over 200 food banks and food-rescue programs, we distribute food to 26 million hungry Americans each year, eight million of whom are children.

Duncan Family Farms--Feeding the Hungry  We believe that our primary responsibility is to provide our community with clean, healthy, life-giving food. We are also committed to making a strong contribution to an improved environment and to giving back to our community by feeding hungry families. Finally, we believe that educational and recreational opportunities are gifts our farm has to offer.

ELCA World Hunger Program  Provides immediate relief for people in need (suffering from chronic hunger and poverty) Provides long-term, sustainable development for whole communities (to alleviate chronic hunger and poverty) Advocates for justice Educates members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America in awareness of issues relating to hunger, poverty and justice These major functions of the World Hunger Program are guided by the objectives for it adopted at the 1987 ELCA Constituting Convention.

Food First The Institute for Food and Development Policy better known as Food First--is a member-supported, nonprofit 'peoples' think tank and education-for-action center. Our work highlights root causes and value-based solutions to hunger and poverty around the world, with a commitment to establishing food as a fundamental human right.

Freedom from Hunger  Brings innovative and sustainable self-help solutions to the fight against chronic hunger and poverty. Together with local partners, we equip families with resources they need to build futures of health, hope and dignity.

HungerWeb  The aim of this site is to help prevent and eradicate hunger by facilitating the free exchange of ideas and information regarding the causes of, and solutions to, hunger. It contains primary information, made available by the World Hunger Program -- the prime sponsor of this site -- and its partners, as well as links to other sites where information of relevance to hunger can be found.

PAR - Plant a Row for the Hungry is a public service campaign of the Garden Writers Association of America (GWAA). Its goal is to help to feed the hungry by establishing PAR networks in every state and province in North America.

Project Angel Food  A daily meal delivery program for men, women, and children who are homebound or disabled by HIV/AIDS. Our meals, prepared by professional chefs and volunteer assistants, are attractive, nutritious and always made with the freshest ingredients. Our registered dietitians provide clients with individual, nutritional counseling. There is no charge to clients for these services.

Sustainable Food Center: Community Youth Gardens  The mission of the (SFC) is to strengthen personal and community food security. Our organization defines food security as "access to affordable, nutritious and satisfying food, derived from non-emergency sources and produced through sustainable practices."

World Hunger Notes The mission is to inform the community of people interested in issues of hunger and poverty, the public, and policymakers, about the causes, extent, and efforts to end hunger and poverty in the United States and the world.
