For the record, these are graphic representations I've chosen because I felt like it… facsimiles rather than actual photos of everyone here.
Perhaps one of these days I'll use a digital camera. Meanwhile, let us know if you'd like to become a member… we'd love to have you join us!

Cari Lightfoot Pike - Truly a beautiful woman, photographer, mom, friend… Cari and I go way back to the days of la allstars and Vidal Sassoon. As a member of SEG, she photographed stills for commercials, film & tv as well as acting and standing in for stahs like Tracy Ullman of the Tracy Ullman show @ Fox Studios among others.
Her work is a sight to behold… look at her new website. And here are a couple sites featuring her work… Wedding Art Photography and Tremoloco, an L.A. based band best described as Gulf Coast Folklorico.

Diane Ingram - Our VLAS webmistress and resident "Princess", Di was lured from a career in Information Systems Management to form Vito Rococo Publishing, Inc. with blues guitarist Calvin James. As Chief Operating Officer of the music publishing corporation based in Minneapolis, MN. Diane laughs "Managing songwriters isn't much different than managing programmers. Both are eccentric individuals who need to be brought back to reality every once in a while…but when they are 'in their zone' they create magic".
Di volunteers at many events in the Elliot Park Neighborhood and at the Outsiders and Others Gallery. She is the Editor in Chief and a contributing writer to the Midwest Music Tribute Page and former Associate Editor for the Xploration Journal, a publication provided to members of Xplor International, where she was a volunteer leader for several years. "Volunteering allows you to learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment," she says.
Oh, ja', she's one of the Virtual Blondes and a dancing maniac...

Janet Bridgers - our resident Earth Mother, P.R. maven and vegetarian hedonist transplanted to LA from - where else? - New Mexico! In addition to gently keeping us in tow with her new book the Healthy Hedonist. Janet is also a fine music and wine connoisseur.
"I'm funneling my resources into self-publishing enterprise to piggy-back on my Internet retail site Domain Earth. My goal in writing and publishing books is to help everyone lead not only more environmental lives, but also to have more fun! You'll be hearing more about these books right here! In the meantime, much love from JB, one of the original Harratt St. Hussies, a virtual lady, a socially and environmentally responsible entrepreneur and a true believer in Cookie Power."

Jennifer Corsiglia - studied almost every art form one can imagine (including dance with Martha Graham) before settling on clay. And what better time to discover clay, than just after the '94 earthquake! Better late than never is definitely true in her case. These days you'll most likely find her at the Jennifer Joyce Pottery Studio in Santa Monica.
"I don't usually think about my work on a cognitive level. It comes from a deep intuitive and emotional place. The process is a combination of nature, spirit and dreams fused together with clay and color. The Tree of Life Seder Plates and the Desert Flowers have been a part of my subconscious for a long time and have appeared in my sketch books or dances since I was very young. Working with clay has given me endless possibilities and reasons to create. Every day in the studio is a new adventure which allows me to feel continually happy and hopeful."

Kathryn Allen - is one of those women you want to know as soon as you meet her. We worked together on a committee organizing a peace conference and before anyone knew what was what, I'd hired her! How could I resist? Feisty, lovely, funny, wicked and compassionate, Kathryn is truly spirit personified! Wife, friend and superb businesswoman, she is now the VP of the David Allen Company. If you want to get things organized, she's your woman!
She has many years experience in service management, and has provided individual coaching to hundreds of individuals, including many senior executives, worldwide." Getting Things Done.

Karen Elliott - Raised in the midst of limos and legends, if not genuine musical royalty, Karen was a born diva. Her late father Randy Wood, a talented musician and arranger, was the president and eventually owned VeeJay Records, a revered blues label. He had the privilege of handing the Beatles their first gold record. (The Beatles on Vee Jay Records) Her mom, Michelina Monteforte', who still looks like Linda Evans, was a dancer turned Beverly Hills real estate baroness.
Karen, helped me open TicketMaster in Los Angeles, for the US Festival. She later worked with Prince, Philip Bailey and many others. Her passions were horseback riding/training and music. Now, they're three year-old son Brandon, hubby Holden and her career as a broker in Beverly Hills.
Still, I know lurking just beneath the surface of that certified businesswoman is a bone fide rock and roll equestrian princess.

Rose "Kiki" Mavrick - taught me how to be playfully naughty with great style and pizzazz. To a Norwegian girl from Minneapolis, this Greek woman from Chicago was a lifesaver. Throughout the '70s and into the '80s, we were rock and roll divas to be reckoned with in Hollywood!
Our dear friend succumbed to breast cancer in October 1999. Kiki is survived by our honorary son, Cody Shaun McCarthy. Plant a rose in her memory. xo

Lynn Marie Gunderson - my best friend since we were 14 and the only genuine princess I've ever known, (even if it was for Prudential) still resides in Minneapolis, MN -- a natural habitat for Scandinavian transplants.
"I am married, with two grown children and a dog. My youngest child Jenny (28), lives in her own home with her son (my grandson) Brennan. My oldest child Curtis (31) still lives at home and it's fine with me. My very oldest child is Steve, my husband. He is a year older than me and also lives at home. I think we have something going."
Lynn retired from Prudential Insurance Company after 30 years of service, but continues working as an Office Manager for a small advertising firm. My hobbies are reading, bowling, golf and occasional needlepoint or sewing. However, I seem to find more time to watch TV and sleep, sometimes at the same time. Go figure. I am also proficient in sign language, the language my grandson Brennan speaks."

Marie - her daughter calls her a cross between Cher and Martha Stewart, I call her the marrying kind. I won't go into any details, (you have to read the book) but I will say that Marie is a lovely woman, with a great sense of humor, who never became jaded by the trappings of Hollywood and rock and roll.
The best little homemaker I've ever known… Hiding love notes here and there around the house, organizing decorations for each holiday on the calendar into separate, distinctly labeled boxes, baking seasonally appropriate cookies, cakes and other treats and sewing adorable little costumes for her daughter Nikohl, (now a mom herself) to name a few acts of kindness. Lord knows how she pulled that off, as the manager of Press and Publicity at SONY music, but retiring from the show biz in LA hasn't changed her one bit!
Marie is now living in Nashville and working for Country Music Television, a division of Viacom.

Marilyn - my cousin has a very full and interesting life. While growing up in Minneapolis, MN, we shared many amusing excursions out on the town!
"I now live in Duluth, MN where it is cold all year long. Since I love it hot, I am not sure why we moved here. Perhaps it's our beautiful log home… Or that big lake, Lake Superior... I see it everyday from my office window and on the drive to work. We live in the woods on a small river that flows into the lake. I am a social worker for St. Louis county, the biggest county in Minnesota. I work with teen parents. As part of my job I go regularly to an alternative school setting and a school operated day care setting.
I am a descendant of Narragansett, Montauk, Mohegan, Pequot and Niantic descent and enrolled members of the Brothertown Indian Nation of Wisconsin. Our web page tells many things including history of the tribe. I also spend lots of time on The Northeast Wigwam. I love animals. Ours include Cody, our 8 1/2 year old dog and our most recent addition, Sammy the cat".

Mom - (Mrs. Anderson) - Or at least she'll always be Mrs. Anderson to me. Let's see, she golfs, plays tennis, volunteers as a candy striper, travels, loves ballroom dancing, takes Spanish lessons and is a 100% old fashioned girl! If you don't bring her diamonds, flowers and fine perfume, don't bother. Twice widowed, mom married Prince Charming the III, a few years ago. She can tell you a thing or two about love and relationships! Meanwhile, mom keeps us posted with amusing stories of her travels around the world.

Momcat - "She is the kitty of the universe, I love her very, very much…" Definitely a virtual lady, momcat helped me write most every word I penned for 16 years. Not to mention sitting right in the middle of all our virtual lady chats. Her spirit will be with me always.
RIP 12/81-1/98

Shar Kanan - I'm one of the lucky ones… I not only knew what I wanted to be when I grew up (a social worker or a rock 'n roll singer) I've been able to do both.
I've spent many years working in public service as a human rights activist, I know how to turn a business around and can still shake that thang! Last year I returned to my homeland and am busy working/living in Elliot Park Neighborhood, while putting together EP Atelier (a used bookstore/coffee house) with pals Diane Ingram (see above) & Lonnie Knight.
Enjoy the site and tell your friends! xo

Tammy Bersing - is an emergency caseworker in the Los Angeles Department of Children's Services. She's also a beader, an art collector, mom to kitty Emile and wife to filmmaker Joel. She may not look like this image, but she sure did dress up like her on Halloween!
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Tammy's first experience with living in the US was in a dorm at the University of Minnesota Duluth. You know she has a great sense of humor to tolerate such an adventure with grace! Los Angeles is a safer place, with her looking out for our children.
