Loft Literary Center  -- LOFT Literary Center  The mission of the Loft is to foster a writing community, the artistic development of individual writers, and an audience for literature. The Loft seeks to recognize and encourage cultural diversity and pluralism in its membership and in all of its programs.

Music Therapy: The Power of Music -- Examines the power of using popular music, something people already listen to, in therapy. Includes examples of therapeutic messages in popular music as well as original music by Freudian Slip, a therapeutic rock band.

VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a non-profit initiative with two primary missions: To restore music education programs in America's public schools, AND to raise awareness of the positive impact music participation has on students.

WAC | Artists and Communities at the Crossroads Walker Art Center: Artists & Communities at the Crossroads A front-page article in the October 18, 1997 New York Times described Minneapolis as one of the nation's most rapidly changing cities. The Walker Art Center is located at the crossroads of these demographic changes. The neighborhoods situated within a two-mile radius of the Walker represent the Twin Cities' increasingly diverse populations and provide the greatest opportunities for engagement across cultures, economic strata, and artistic disciplines.
